Your fastest LaTeX writing loop
Write what you mean. SpeedTeX handles the syntax, fixes the small stuff, and keeps a real compiled preview beside your work—typically in about 0.4 seconds.

Thought → valid LaTeX → compiled PDF
No context switch in between.
The actual loop
One sentence, one period, one hosted pass. The source changes in place and the real compiled PDF catches up beside it.
Already use Wispr Flow?
Wispr Flow works beautifully with SpeedTeX. Dictate naturally into VS Code or Overleaf; when the sentence lands, SpeedTeX handles the notation and your preview catches up.
Completely optional—typing and other dictation tools work too. SpeedTeX is not affiliated with Wispr Flow.
SpeedTeX for Overleaf
The Chrome extension uses Overleaf’s live code editor, reads the complete open source when you ask it to, and lands each result as one native transaction. Collaboration, cursor mapping, and Undo stay Overleaf-native.
?? integral x y z.inline LaTeX??? format every question.whole document?? the integral of e to the x from 1 to 10.

A quiet input layer
SpeedTeX does its job at the edge of your attention. No chat panel to babysit. No mysterious rewrite of everything you wrote.
Type a period and SpeedTeX cleans up the completed sentence—notation, spelling, grammar, and structure—without touching the half-written one beneath it. In the current hosted benchmark, the median edit landed in 382 ms.
\int_1^{10} e^x\,dx?? turns its own line into inline LaTeX. ??? is an explicit whole-document formatting request—no guessing from words like “all.”
A compiled PDF opens beside your source. Fast local preview fills the gap while TeX catches up.
Every edit is structurally checked before it lands. Suspicious changes wait for review, and Undo is always one keystroke away.

Questions, answered
That is not the default. SpeedTeX is designed as an input and editing layer: it translates notation, repairs minor mistakes, applies formatting instructions, and preserves your mathematical intent. ?? requests inline LaTeX; ??? explicitly requests a broader document-formatting pass.
The text needed for an edit and relevant document context pass through the SpeedTeX service for processing. The hosted database records operational metrics and a cryptographic prompt hash, not manuscript text.
Nothing happens to your work. Hosted formatting pauses until the next month. If your workload regularly needs more, contact us and we’ll find the right arrangement.
SpeedTeX validates edit shape and LaTeX structure before applying. Risky suggestions are held for review, generated edits do not retrigger themselves, stale responses are discarded, and native VS Code or Overleaf Undo works.
The syntax can keep up now.
